Tuesdays in December (Dec 3, 10, 17, 24): Tuesday Noon Organ Recitals Sponsored by the local chapter of the American Guild of Organists, each week at noon a different organist will present a half-hour program of varied repertoire on our fabulous Fisk organ.  Dec 3 Sean Burns; Dec 10 Andy Heller; Dec 17 Mark Bani; Dec 24 Paul Fejko

Sunday, Dec 8, 5 p.m.       Lessons & Carols An annual Advent tradition with seasonal carols sung by the Christ Choir, with preludes by John Lionarons, hammered dulcimer.

Sunday, Dec 22, 5 p.m. “Carols for a Cause”  Get in the Christmas spirit with candlelit caroling in historic Christ Church, led by the combined choirs of Christ Church and Old First Reformed, all while benefiting their shared ministry to the homeless.  All are welcome, free of charge, donations gratefully received.  

Christmas Eve, Tues, Dec 24:

5 p.m. Holy Eucharist and Christmas Pageant  All kids are welcome to join in the telling of the Christmas story.  Stop by Neighborhood House (just behind the church) by 4:30 to get a costume or bring one of your own.  

8:30 p.m./9 p.m.    Christmas Eve Cantata followed by 9 p.m. Festive Eucharist A special performance of Handel’s Messiah, Part 1, with the Christ Church Choir and soloists, precedes a worship service full of favorite hymns and other beautiful music.
