We are excited to partner with Tempesta Di Mare, a Philadelphia Baroque orchestra, with a special after-hours event at the Burial Ground.
On Friday May 3 at 6 p.m., join us at the BG for a program of Tempesta Di Mare’s Great Books program that introduces the themes of Le Malade Imaginaire (Jean-Baptiste Moliere’s 1673 play The Hypochondriac with incidental music by Marc-Antoine Charpentier) through the grave markers of famous doctors and musicians buried here.
After a tour of the property and an introduction to Moliere’s piece, guests will take a scavenger hunt that continues the storytelling!
$10. Purchase tickets here or at the Burial Ground gates (attendance limited to 30).
