Justice for those in need

Philadelphia is currently the most imporverished among the nation's largest cities, according to recent statistics.  We in the Bridge group regularly prepare, serve, and share meals with our homeless friends in Center City, as well as work with women and children at St. Barnabas Shelter in West Philly and participate in other Christ Church outreach such as the Christmas Angel Tree.

Members of the Bridge regularly prepare and serve meals at the St. Barnabas shelter during the fall and winter.  This is a great opportunity to give back to the city and enjoy fellowship with shelter residents and fellow Christ Church parishioners. Our 2011 schedule will be posted here soon.

For more information on how you can help with the shelter dinners - whether preparing or bringing food, or helping with serving - please contact Nick DiPatri.  For information on any justice work, contact the Rev. Kate Spelman

The Christ Church Preservation Trust is a non-religious non-profit organization whose goal is the preservation of the historic Christ Church buildings and burial ground, and the interpretation of church history.
