Genealogy Searches:
Of particular interest to genealogists are the parish registers which list baptisms, marriages and funerals. These were indexed in 1930 as part of a WPA work project, enabling the Church to more readily find records of past parishioners. Some of these records have now been entered into a searchable database to allow users to more easily find records of past church members.
Currently baptisms through 1843 have been entered into the database and marriages through 1767. Our hope is to continue this transcription process and add burial records to this database as funding permits. Records for baptisms and marriages performed at St. Peters Church can also be found among these records, as they formed a part of the United Churches of Christ Church and St. Peters.
When entering a name, note that the returns include all entries with that name in any field, i.e. individual, parent, or spouse, will be found.

In 1964, the Church of the Latter Day Saints microfilmed the Christ Church registers. Personal Ancestral Files are available free of charge from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Click here to download a copy.
