An evening on the town - with free childcare provided.
The stresses of parenting and demands of work can make it a lot more complicated to find free time with a community of friends. Parents' Night Out - for parents of kids of any age - allows for dinner and great conversation in the hub of Old City, while offering free childcare for kids up to age 10 in the space and with the caregivers that the kids already feel comfortable with at the church. For more information, call the Rev. Susan Richardson.
Fall 08 schedule:
Sept 28, and Nov 16, 5-7:30 p.m., parents and caregivers will gather in Neighborhood House for Parents' Night Out, for excellent food and even more excellent company. Kids and youth will be upstairs in Atrium 2 for pizza and a movie. Childcare is free; suggested contribution of $10 per adult for dinner. Please rsvp to Cecilia Wagner,
cwagner@christchurchphila.org, with number of adults and kids. Please bring a drink to share - and a new family to join in the fun.
Sept. 28 - Welcome back! A chance to catch up with folks you haven't seen much over the summer, and welcome those newer to the community.
Nov. 16 - Get ready for Advent. A brief discussion over drinks, at 5:00, about anticipating the stresses of the holidays and building in some centered time for your family; followed by dinner and who knows what...
